Salt Lake County Responds to Citizen Requests with Hosted Web Solution from The Active Network

Active Citizen Response to Deliver Improved Customer Service Across 27 Divisions

SAN DIEGO, CAMarch 6, 2007 – The Active Network, Inc. (Active), a company that delivers software technology and marketing solutions for government agencies and community service organizations, today announced that Salt Lake County, located in Utah, has chosen its Active Citizen Response solution to track, route and manage citizen inquiries and requests across 27 divisions including the mayor’s office.

The largest county in Utah, Salt Lake County is home to more than one million residents and three dozen agencies that provide nearly 100 services to its citizens. Using the Active Citizen Response solution will enable Salt Lake County to respond to citizen requests quicker and in a more consistent manner throughout multiple divisions. Citizens will also have the added benefit of checking the status of their requests around the clock via the Internet.

In order to eliminate the upfront capital expense, time and staff resource requirements involved in maintaining an IT infrastructure, Salt Lake County has also chosen the hosted, Web-based version of Active Citizen Response making it the largest county customer of the hosted product to date.
