Largest US Youth Soccer State Association Looks to Improve Efficiency with Web Based System
PLEASANTON, CA – March 22, 2007 – The California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) is streamlining their registration processes by moving from a PC based system to a web based solution. After reviewing more than a dozen proposals, CYSA selected LeagueOne, a service of The Active Network, Inc. (Active) and leading registration and data management software to state soccer associations affiliated with US Youth Soccer. Active’s LeagueOne provides Web-based tools and a centralized database that will streamline the registration and administration process between CYSA and its local soccer leagues. CYSA becomes the 10th state soccer association to choose Active’s technology services, making LeagueOne the leading software servicing state soccer associations.
With more than 214,000 players, CYSA will rollout a centralized LeagueOne statewide database and web-based application to manage registration and membership online, roster submissions and approvals, risk management and more. With Active’s LeagueOne solution, CYSA can exchange information easily with their clubs and enforce registration policies, saving time and improving accuracy with an automated, online process. Active’s online services also offers each of the 150 local leagues associated with CYSA the opportunity to integrate online registration and fee collection to parents which will directly link to the state database providing both the clubs and parents a convenient and easy-to-use process while meeting all state and local eligibility requirements.
