University of British Columbia Chooses The Active Network’s Content Management Solution to Power Campus Websites

More than 500 Web Sites to Be Offered Active Content Manager

SAN DIEGO, CAFebruary 15, 2007 – The Active Network, Inc. (Active), a company that delivers software technology and marketing solutions for community service organizations, today announced that the University of British Columbia has chosen its Active Content Manager (ACM) solution to operate its many campus and departmental Web sites. Consistently ranked among the world’s 40 best universities, the University of British Columbia will use Active’s content management solution to standardize publishing of its many Web sites, provide university staff with the ability to quickly edit and publish content online, and streamline to gain efficiencies in site management.
