The California Parks & Recreation Society (CPRS) regional conference starts tomorrow (March 20 – 23, 2012) in Long Beach, California. Parks and recreational professionals from California and the Pacific Southwest will gather to learn, discuss, and share everything new in recreation management.

If you’re planning on attending, here are some highlights for the upcoming week: There will be a golf tournament, harbor cruise, Long Beach Segway tour, and more on Tuesday. From Wednesday through Friday, there will be a number of educational sessions to choose from that include topics like apps and tools, choosing between grass or synthetic sports fields, funding a project, steps to conservation, creative successful public/private collaborations and more.
And if you will be attending, be sure to stop by booth #247 to hang out with the Active Network, Communities team. Anita Mattice, Megan Ferri, and Jessica Walsh-Krenicki will be there!
