Innovation and goals go hand in hand at ACTIVE Network. We reached a major goal of relocating our headquarters to Dallas this fall. On December 3rd, we celebrated by opening the doors to our new state-of-the-art, 125,000 sq.ft. space that was designed to foster collaboration, innovation and growth. More than 85 of our partners and customers celebrated with us, including Dallas Mayor, Mike Rawlings.

ACTIVE Network recently presented the Customer Excellence Award to Kristi McClure, director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Chula Vista. Kristi has spent more than 20 years dedicated to developing city parks and recreation for communities both large and small. As a long-time advocate for parks and recreation, Kristi has been instrumental in helping the team at ACTIVE to develop and refine the tools to make ACTIVE Net more efficient.

The conference had record-breaking attendance of 4,072 people this year representing 37 different countries.

Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona were closed this past Saturday, in honor of the 2,000 plus sailors and marines that were killed on December 7, 1941. Pearl Harbor Day is a historic and somber reminder of the attack that drove America into WW II.
We’re back from largest conference and trade show in the global attractions industry. Approximately 29,000 amusement parks and attractions industry professionals spent 5 days at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, to debut new products, connect with industry peers, and discuss the latest trends.
The expo floor was full of a variety of booths with interactive activities including multi-sensory simulations, a “spinning coaster,” a scare factory booth, and much more. IAAPA felt more like an amusement park than a business trade show. Companies were also exhibiting new mobile technologies that have the potential to streamline parks operations, while enhancing interactions with guests. Continue reading
Last weekend, was awe-inspiring for us at ACTIVE. We cheered on 17 of our employees as they pushed their bodies to the limit to earn the coveted IRONMAN Title in Tempe, Arizona.
ACTIVE has a deep history within the endurance community, and over the years our employees have competed in more than 120 IRONMAN events. It was just a month ago that ACTIVE cheered on two of its own at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona.
