While your organization is gearing up for some people’s favorite time of year – all the fall holidays – we’re anticipating how our employees’ are going to go all out for Movember!

Movember is all about the fellas, a whole month (November) focused on men’s health.

No, you’re not seeing a new facial hair trend. All those mustaches you see in the month of November are being grown to raise awareness for men’s health issues – particularly the diseases that lead to male premature death: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

Growing a mustache is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to supporting this important cause. November is the perfect month to engage your male population and make a real difference for men’s wellness. The Movember Foundation has set a goal to reduce the number of premature death by 25% by the year 2030. And they’ve made it easy for you to impact that goal, too.

  • Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide, but if caught early, survival rates are better than 98%
  • Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men aged 15-34 in the US.
  • Three out of four suicides are men.

Personal Fitness Challenge

Encourage concrete, goal-setting for your male population. You can track progress at your facility, or register through the Movember Foundation.

Host an Event

Follow the Movember Foundation’s Guide to a Great Movember Event and host a special time at your facility to raise awareness, funds and even better, heart rates.

Provide Special Offerings in November
