The Power of Activity-based Workplace Wellness

The American Heart Association recommends that individuals perform moderately-intense exercise for at least 30 minutes on most days of the week.

Smaller amounts of activity — as little as 10 to 15 minutes at a time — can make a difference in beating stress related illness, like depression.

While diet has a stronger effect on weight loss than physical activity does, physical activity, including exercise, has a stronger effect in preventing weight gain and maintaining weight loss.

In Their Words
"The more work I do now, consistent exercise and eating healthy, results in me staying limber and having a pain free daily life. Consistent exercise really helps to stave off any arthritic conditions getting worse. I know firsthand how debilitating daily life can be when I get lazy and don’t take care of myself."
