Our GM of Wellness, Don Fisher, provides his insight into our exciting new venture with wellness customer, Aetna:Yesterday at the mHealth Summit in Washington, D.C., we announced the integration of our ActiveWorks® 365 platform with Aetna Carepass which will be released later this month.This is really exciting news because, in partnership with Aetna and other partners, we are helping to build new, health and fitness-oriented eco-system that promises to help individuals take full control of their health. Members using Aetna Everactive, one of our corporate installations or even our Active Trainer members will now be able to link their accounts with Carepass and integrate a wide variety of information.In our first release, we are focused on account linking and publishing workout data into the Carepass repository. Our next release, due in early 2013, will pull data from Carepass into your Trainer profile and vice versa.This will give our members the ability to use a wide range of specialty products to support their activity, nutrition and health planning and monitoring goals while providing a connection to the full ACTIVE.com Trainer experience, including training plans and access to local events.Stay tuned for further details as we launch this exciting new service!
