This year’s theme is “We Rise Up for Parks and Recreation” to bring attention to how important it is to rise up and support our fields, because every day, park and recreation professionals rise up for their communities in service of equity, climate-readiness, and overall health and well-being. "In celebration of National Park & Rec Month, we will highlight divisions by showcasing all the hard work our staff does on social media, provide an appreciation opportunity to staff and invite them to a social gathering to hang out with staff outside of work. We will be inviting staff to attend the Sundown Sounds music concert (our summer concert series) on July 27 at Eastway Regional Recreation Center starting at 6pm. We will be handing out a sweet treats to staff at the Administrative Office."
