Hello, Dallas!

Innovation and goals go hand in hand at ACTIVE Network. We reached a major goal of relocating our headquarters to Dallas this fall. On December 3, we celebrated by opening the doors to our new state-of-the-art, 125,000 sq.ft. space that was designed to foster collaboration, innovation and growth. More than 85 of our partners and customers celebrated with us, including Dallas Mayor, Mike Rawlings.

ACTIVE Network Dallas Office "Park"

After taking a walk in the “park" (above) honored guests, Mayor Mike Rawlings and Dallas Regional Chamber CEO, Dale Petroskey joined ACTIVE Network CEO Darko Dejanovic for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “Dallas may be great for ACTIVE, but ACTIVE is certainly great for Dallas and we look forward to working together as we grow and strengthen this great community,” Mayor Mike Rawlings said.

Why Dallas?

“We were looking for a location with a business-friendly climate, a strong pool of talent, and a city that offered a great quality of life for our employees. Based on our search, Dallas proved to be our top choice, and it has exceeded our expectations,” stated ACTIVE Chief Executive Officer, Darko Dejanovic. “Dallas is a vibrant and growing city, and its location makes it a great hub for our expanding global business.”Dallas also allows us to:

  • Establish a center of excellence.
  • Recruit and retain future talent.
  • Position ourselves for continued fast-paced growth.

Plus, we love the hospitality and food!

Predicted Growth

“We have big expectations for 2015. We are taking a strategic step in transforming our business into not only a cloud-based SaaS technology company, but also now becoming a business intelligence-focused data and analytics company,” added Dejanovic. “As we head into 2015, we will harness our rich data and market intelligence and turn it into insights for our customers, which will have a dramatic positive impact on their business and will drive growth and increased participation in all types of events and activities. We’ve also hired several hundred talented and passionate people since this summer, and are well on our way to having 1,000 staff in this office.”

We Love Giving Back to the Community

ACTIVEx Charity Challenge Triathlon Participants

In October, we sponsored the U.S. Open Triathlon in the Dallas Metroplex as part of our annual ACTIVEx Charity Challenge. With more than 120 of our employees taking on the “challenge” of a triathlon, 5K, or volunteering to support the race, we fundraised thousands of dollars for our charity partner, KIDS in the GAME. As a result, more than 400 underserved Dallas children get to participate in youth sports through local YMCAs and Girls on the Run programs.ACTIVE Network has seen a lot of transition in 2014. We’re excited about where we’ve been and even more so about where we’re going. We’re just getting started!
