ACTIVE employees celebrated Women’s Health Week last week by doing what they do best—getting active! Just because most people are working from home doesn’t mean we can’t stay healthy, fit and moving—and inspire the community to do the same.

Sunday: Mother's Day Fun

Jessica Harp, a social media buyer at ACTIVE, kicked off the week by showing how she stays active by playing outdoors with her son.

Monday: Recovery is Key

After getting in a good burn, it's important to focus on recovery. Athletic trainer Melissa Davis shares some great foam roller moves to aid in the process.

Tuesday: Killer At-Home Workout

Amanda Patino, a marketing specialist at ACTIVE, demonstrated her typical at-home workout, proving you don’t have to go to the gym or buy loads of excess equipment just to stay in shape at home.

Wednesday: Get to Steppin'

ACTIVEx Employee Engagement Manager Kristen Sudela provided some great tips for ways to get in your 10,000 steps even as you’re staying home all day. Whether you’re walking your dog or taking the stairs instead of the elevator at your apartment, there are plenty of easy ways to get moving.

Thursday: Nurturing the Body

Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about working out or getting moving. It’s important to eat a well-balanced diet, too! ACTIVE Sales Operations Specialist Heeseon Suki discussed some of the ways she maintains a healthy diet for Wednesday’s video.

Friday: Adding in Some Fresh Air

Anne Stanard, associate account manager at ACTIVE, got moving last week by getting out of her house and into the great outdoors to take a hike and enjoy everything the world has to offer. It’s not just push-ups and squats that can promote a healthy lifestyle.

Saturday: Ready, Set, Pedal

Finally, ACTIVE Senior Account Manager Nadia Wilkinson showed you can cycle outdoors or in! Many people are turning to virtual races during the stay at home order, whether that means running, cycling or even duathlon. With a little ingenuity, you’ll never run out of ways to get active and live a healthy lifestyle, no matter where you are or what resources you might be limited to.
