ACTIVE is excited to announce significant steps it’s taking to deepen its commitment to the endurance community—one we proudly support and grow alongside. With a renewed focus on customer-centric growth and support, we are thrilled to welcome Eric Turner and Rob Tranter to our team and announce a dedicated new role for Sloan Ware. These additions are more than just new appointments; they reflect our ongoing mission to deliver exceptional support, innovative solutions, and a true sense of partnership for every endurance event organizer and timer. Together, we're building a future where our partners are not just empowered by our platform but inspired to be integral members of a collaborative and thriving endurance network.
Welcoming Eric Turner, Senior Account and Growth Manager
Turner rejoins ACTIVE as our new senior account and growth manager, bringing a wealth of firsthand experience and industry insight. Cool Event (later known as Viral Run) has been an ACTIVE customer since 2013, and Turner served as president there from 2020 to 2025 before returning to ACTIVE in his current role. He has utilized nearly every aspect of our technology to solve real-world event challenges, from registration and point-of-sale to our On-Site app and email segmentation tools.
Having witnessed ACTIVE's evolution through a customer's eyes, Turner has seen the positive shifts in our company, from product development to management. He notes a healthy, customer-focused approach that he is excited to share with the wider community. Turner's decision to rejoin the team stems from his desire to drive meaningful change across the market and challenge historical perspectives, leveraging his unique experience to benefit our partners.
Welcoming Rob Tranter, Senior Account and Growth Manager
Rob Tranter joins the endurance team as our new Senior Account and Growth Manager. A veteran of the endurance industry since 2012, Rob brings a wide-ranging perspective shaped by his tenure as a national sales manager, a championship-winning cross country coach, an accomplished triathlete, and a world-class trail runner.
Tranter’s career is defined by a “client-first” mindset. Most notably, he reignited the ChronoTrack Timer Advisory Team, traveling extensively on the East Coast to listen directly to the client voice—a testament to his dedication to understanding customer needs. By constantly bridging the gap between customer feedback and product delivery, he has helped timing partners align their hardware and software configurations with long-term revenue goals through a collaborative, partnership-driven approach.
Sloan Ware to Lead Partner Development for Timers
Sloan Ware is stepping into a new role as partner development manager, focusing on endurance event timers. Since 2018, he’s been both an IPICO timer and an ACTIVEWorks Endurance customer, so he understands firsthand what timers need to succeed.
Ware is especially committed to making sure timers have reliable technology and great support. In this new position, he’ll be working to strengthen our global timer network and help timers get the most out of ACTIVEWorks Endurance and our other tools.
A Renewed Focus on Growth and Support
These team developments directly reflect our dedication to endurance events. By welcoming experienced professionals like Turner and Tranter, and focusing the expertise of team members like Ware, we are better positioned than ever to support our customers' goals. We are committed to growing our customer base and offering superior support to the organizations that host events on ACTIVEWorks Endurance.
We look forward to working with you to support and strengthen the endurance community. Your feedback and partnership are important to us as we continue to improve our platform and services.
With the leadership of Turner, Tranter, and Ware, we’re continuing to evolve our platform and support the future of endurance events. If you’re interested in joining a collaborative, innovative community of organizers and timers, connect with us and help shape what’s next.
